This item is exceedingly rare, and should not be missed. Signed boldly on the front in purple grease pencil (most likely due to being stationed in North Africa, this implement was best to use given the heat). This is a true piece of history and despite Rommel being on the wrong side of history, he is widely regarded as a tremendous general. Rommel died in 1944 making his signature extremely scarce.
